This year, the Year 5 students will enjoy a residential trip to Hawaii. 36 pupils will be traveling to Oahu for a week, from the 1st to the 8th of April, and will be based in and around Waikiki. During the time on Oahu, students will be visiting sites such as Pearl Harbour, Iolani Palace, Diamond Head Crater and Moana Falls. They will also take a flight to Big Island where they will spend a day at the Volcanoes National Park. The Year 5 students have been studying Volcanoes, Plants and Adaptations and Invaders and Settlers as part of their Humanities and Science Topics and this trip will be a chance for them to augment their learning.
